Penned by Arthur Conan Doyle and brought to the screen by Guy Ritchie, Sherlock Holmes enjoys a reputation as the sharpest mind of his time—and rightly so: the man wears button-on braces!
The film, stylishly directed and visually satisfying, is made all the more enjoyable by the fact that Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law spend 2 hours and 7 minutes in button braces. For the average viewer, it’s a period detective action film.
But for the team at Léon and our beloved braces, it’s nothing less than a historical documentary! One thing’s for sure—Professor Moriarty is in for a proper dressing-down.
