Description: Men Wide Braces oh rage oh despair
120 cm long and 35 mm wide, these braces are made up of grey recycled cotton elastic bands (92% polyester and 8% elastodiene) joined by a black vegan leather insert (made of apple) stamped “Les Bretelles de Léon”. The Large ô rage ô desespoire braces have stainless steel clips with a rubber reinforcement so they won't mark your clothes. You can wear your braces over all types of trousers without any constraint.
These large “oh rage oh despair” braces take their name from one of the most famous tirades in French literature, expressing the deep feelings of a character overwhelmed by fate. The expression comes from Don Diègue's monologue in Pierre Corneille's Le Cid, a classic 17th-century play exploring the themes of honour and tragic family conflict.
Our model, Charly, is 1m82 tall and wears a size L Lordson shirt and size 46 vintage Kiplay trousers!
Our advice:
- To choose your braces (standard, XL or XS), measure with a tape measure from the waistband at the front to the waistband at the back, passing through the shoulder.
- Remember to waterproof the leather of your braces.
