120 cm long and 25 mm wide, the braces are made up of black elastic bands (83% polyester and 17% elastodiene) joined by a green leather insert (100% cowhide) stamped “Les Bretelles de Léon”.
The slim Canotier braces have stainless steel clips with a rubber reinforcement so they won't mark your clothes. You can wear your braces over all types of trousers without any constraints.
Canotier braces? What's all this about? These braces made us think of boating hats. Boater hats were iconic summer hats worn by men in the 1800s through to the early 20th century. It was probably the water-green leather back that inspired the name... because canoers were associated with outdoor activities such as boating!
Our model, Stéphane, is 1m75 tall and wears a Lordson shirt in size M and tuffery trousers in size 42’.
